Workout World Calendar and Training Diary places exercise and mental health in the spotlight!
The fitness equipment retailer is donating part of the proceeds ($35,000) from the sale of the Calendar and Training Diary to beyondblue: the national depression initiative, an organisation that raises awareness of depression and anxiety.
Workout World Auburn store manager Matt Johnson and his team want more Australians to understand the lifestyle benefits of exercise in their daily lives.
"We hope that this Calendar and Training Diary will further encourage Australians to commit to regular exercise and reap the rewards," Matt said.
"We've chosen to support beyondblue because as Australia's largest fitness equipment specialist we're passionate about spreading awareness of the benefits of keeping active. Every day, we're educating people about the benefits of regular exercise, finding customers the most suitable fitness equipment for their fitness goals," Matt added.
The Calendar and Training Diary features two sections: a Training Diary section and a Calendar section. The Training Diary is set up for two users. Each month features two colour-coded boxes to individually track and record training activity.
The Calendar helps people track birthdays, social events and other reminders.
It also features top tips from Workout World staff and friends about their workout favourites; what keeps Workout World staff and friends motivated to exercise and handy health tips.
The Calendar + Training Diary is available now at Workout World, at Shop G04. Call Workout World on 9648 5322.
